Chiefs Hosting National Anthem Tryouts Saturday

PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Chiefs are looking for singers, young and old, who are interested in performing the National Anthem before a game in the 2013 season. To find singers the Chiefs are holding auditions on Saturday, March 23 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at Peoria Chiefs Stadium.

Anyone interested in auditioning should RSVP to Courtney Kessler, Entertainment/Community Relations Manager, at courtneyk@chiefsnet.com or (309) 680-4040. Performances must be under 90 seconds to keep the pre-game schedule on track for an on-time start and all auditions and performances must be a cappella or instrumental. Music sheets or lyrics will not be provided or allowed for auditions or game performances. Please keep performances traditional military style with no added notes, verses or variations. Opening day for the Peoria Chiefs is Thursday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m.
