
Chiefs Announce Home Opener/Pre-Season Schedule

The Spokane Chiefs have announced they will open the home portion of their regular season on Saturday, October 2nd when they host the Tri-City Americans on Bud Light Opening Night. It will mark the 19th time in the last 21 seasons, and fifth year in a row, that the two have kicked off the Chiefs' home schedule in the Spokane Arena.
Spokane will travel to Tri-City one week prior to help the Americans begin the regular season on Saturday, September 25th.
The remainder of the Chiefs schedule will be set at the annual WHL Western Conference Scheduling meeting on Monday, July 26th and Tuesday, July 27th. A full schedule will be released shortly thereafter.
Ticket packages for the 2010-11 season are currently on sale by contacting a Chiefs Account Executive at (509) 535-PUCK. Individual game tickets for the regular season will go on sale in September.
SEVEN PRE-SEASON GAMES SCHEDULED
CHIEFS WILL HOST KOOTENAY AT EAGLES ON SEPTEMBER 18TH
The Chiefs will play seven pre-season games, including one home game on Saturday, September 18th when the Kootenay Ice visit Eagles Ice-A-Rena, in preparation for the 2010-11 WHL hockey season.
Spokane will play three games over Labor Day weekend from September 3rd-5th in Everett, WA at the Silvertips annual Holiday Inn Pre-Season Classic. The Chiefs will play Tri-City, Seattle and Portland on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Spokane will also take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Thursday, September 9th in Kennewick, WA in their first of two games at the Red Lion Hotels Pre Season Tournament. The Chiefs will play the host Tri-City Americans on Saturday, September 11th to finish the tournament. Spokane will travel back to Tri-City to play the Americans again on Friday, September 17th.
The home game versus the Ice will finish the Chiefs pre-season schedule one week before they open the regular season in Tri-City on Saturday, September 25th. Spokane will begin the home portion of the regular season on Saturday, October 2nd versus the Americans.
