Chiefs Announce Crow's Nest Pint Glass Giveaway

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs announced today that the Crow's Nest restaurant will be sponsoring a pint glass giveaway on January 30, 2010 and that the restaurant will be the new host location of "The Pow Wow Coach's Show."

Located at 510 Tire Hill Rd. in Johnstown, the Crow's Nest is the new home of "The Pow Wow Coach's Show" which will take place on a bi-weekly basis beginning on Tuesday, November 10 at 7:00 p.m. Each half-hour show will be hosted by "The Voice of the Chiefs," Ray Schmitt and the featured guest for the first show on November 10 will be Chiefs head coach Jeff Flanagan. Chiefs fans are invited to come out and see the show live and enjoy all the great food and drink that the Crow's Nest has to offer. For those who can't come out to see the show live, podcast versions of "The Pow Wow Coach's Show" will be available online at www.johnstownchiefs.com following each show.

One of the highlights of this year's promotional calendar is the pint glass giveaway on January 30. The first 1,000 fans, 18 and over, will get an authentic pint glass that can be taken to the Crow's Nest for discounts on beverages. The drink discount will only be available at the Crow's Nest. The Chiefs host the expansion Toledo Walleye on Saturday, January 30 with the opening faceoff schedule for 7:05 p.m., and doors opening at 6:05.

Mark your calendars! The Chiefs are back on home ice on Wednesday, November 11 against Reading at 7:35. The Chiefs will honor military veterans in a special pregame ceremony, and a special Veterans' Day price of $5 is being offered to all active military members as well as veterans. The Chiefs will also wear special camouflage jerseys that will be auctioned off live immediately following the game. Good seats are still available.
