
Chicagoland Wendy's And Chicago Fire Team Up For Benefit Night

BRIDGEVIEW, ILL. (Sept. 11, 2008) - Chicagoland Wendy's stores and the Chicago Fire are hosting a special event to benefit the organization's FireWorks for Kids Foundation on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
The event will be held from 5-8 p.m. at more than 140 Wendy's stores across Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. The restaurants will donate a portion of their sales from the evening to the foundation, which is the charitable arm of the Chicago Fire.
The Fire's Diego Gutierrez will be at the Wendy's located at 3610 N. Western Avenue in Chicago that evening to sign autographs and meet customers. There will be 25 autographed Chicago Fire soccer balls given away at various Wendy's stores throughout Chicagoland that evening.
"The FireWorks for Kids Foundation is pleased to partner with local area Wendy's," said Jessica Yavitz the Executive Director of the FireWorks for Kids Foundation. "We look forward to developing a long and prosperous relationship that will ultimately benefit the special children we serve in the Chicagoland area."
