The Chicago Fire are participating in a series of community events across the Chicagoland area this week. Throughout the year, the Fire participate in hundreds of community events to work with youth, charities and other organizations to promote the game of soccer by advocating wellness, healthy lifestyle choices, physical activities and education.
This week's events feature Chicago Fire mascot Sparky at the VIVA! Chicago Latin Music Festival on Friday, Sept. 17, and on Saturday, Sept. 18 along with a Chicago Fire player to be determined. Over the weekend, Fire mascot Sparky will be at the Scout Fest, at the Italian Expo at Navy Pier, and at the World Sports Festival on Saturday, Sept. 18. Fire mascot will join the parade during Fiestas Patrias Aurora on Sunday, Sept. 19.

What: Join the Chicago Fire at the VIVA! Chicago Latin Music Festival this Friday, Sept. 17. The event will showcase local, national and international talent in the various Latin music genres that include salsa, reggaeton, mariachi, norteña, Spanish pop and more. For more info, visit here .
Scout Fest
Who: Chicago Fire mascot Sparky
When: Saturday, Sept. 18; 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
Where: Northerly Island - 1300 S. Lynn White Drive, Chicago, IL 60605
What: Join the Chicago Fire mascot Sparky for the Scout Fest on Saturday, Sept. 18. The program will include a midway of Scouting activities and Scout friendly vendors as well as an urban adventure hike, a spectacular stage show in the Charter One Pavilion featuring hit artist Smash Mouth, and fireworks over Lake Michigan.
Italian Expo
Who: Chicago Fire player TBD; Fire mascot Sparky
When: Saturday, Sept. 18; 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM (Player) & noon - 2:00 PM (Sparky)
Where: Navy Pier, Festival Hall A - 600 East Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611
What: Join the Chicago Fire and enjoy a weekend of fun for the whole family at ITALIAN EXPO on Saturday, Sept. 18 at Navy Pier. Sample delicious food and wine, participate in cooking competitions, see fashion shows, luxury cars on display, and shop for Italian gifts, while your kids play in the interactive sports area! Where: Parade proceeds down Benton Street from River to Broadway - Aurora, IL
What: Join the Chicago Fire at the Fiestas Patrias Aurora parade on Sunday, Sept. 19. Fire Street team and mascot Sparky will be there with giveaways, inflatable, and much more.
