Chicago Fire Midfielder Przemyslaw Frankowski Named to Poland National Team for UEFA European Championship Qualifying Matches

CHICAGO- The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that midfielder Przemysław Frankowski has been named to the Poland National Team roster for two upcoming UEFA European Championship qualifying matches against Israel and Slovenia.

In the final two match days for UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying, Poland will travel to face Israel at Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem on Nov. 16 at 1:45 p.m. CT, before hosting Slovenia on Nov. 19 at 1:45 p.m. CT at the National Stadium in Warsaw. Poland currently sits atop the Group G table with 19 points.

During the last round of qualifiers, Frankowski led Poland to a 2-0 win against North Macedonia, scoring the game-winning goal in the 74th minute to notch his first career goal at the international level. Frankowski has represented Poland nine times, including appearances in UEFA Nations League and UEFA European Championship qualifying matches.
