Chicago Fire FC News Release

CHICAGO - The Chicago Fire Football Club today announced a new multi-year partnership extension with NovaCare Rehabilitation. NovaCare will continue to serve as the official provider of physical therapy and athletic training for the Club. The three-year partnership will provide physical therapy for the first team and athletic training for the Chicago Fire Academy and Chicago Fire Juniors City teams.

"NovaCare shares the Fire's passion for football and are keenly focused on the health, wellness and high performance of our Club," said Chicago Fire COO John Urban. "CFFC players, from our First Team to the Academy to the Juniors program, deserve to have world-class care when it comes to injury prevention and treatment."

In addition, NovaCare will be integrated into all facets of the Chicago Fire organization, becoming the Supporting Partner of the Academy, Premium Partner of the Chicago Fire Juniors, and Cornerstone Partner of the CIBC Fire Pitch. NovaCare will also have its own brand presence through in-stadium signage at Soldier Field, digital integration and broadcast assets.

As part of the partnership, NovaCare has chosen Midwest Orthopedics at Rush to provide Chief Medical Officers, led by Dr. Joshua Blomgren and Dr. Brian Forsythe, and serve as a compliment to the overall sports medicine team. Both doctors have worked with the Club since 2015.

"NovaCare Rehabilitation is proud to continue our strong partnership with Chicago Fire FC," said Kevin Burda, P.T., DPT, vice president of operations. "CFFC is a first-class organization, and this is an exciting time to be part of their new direction to positively impact the city of Chicago and their loyal fans. We will continue to work hard each day to be an asset to the Club by sharing our clinical expertise and providing superior care to the Juniors, Academy and First Team."
