Chicago Bandits News Release

Elgin, Ill - The snow is continuing to fall, the temperatures are continuing to drop and we need your help. Saturday, Jan 17, help better the Elgin community with a donation to Elgin Food Pantry and meet the 2008 World Champion Chicago Bandits while doing so.

The Bandits will be hosting their first "Fan Session" of 2009 at the Heritage Ballroom, located in the Centre of Elgin at 100 Symphony Way in Elgin, Ill., on January 17. Please bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the Elgin Food Pantry and meet your favorite Bandits' players.

From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the 2008 Champions will be on hand to sign autographs, take photos with fans and answer questions. In addition to meeting the 2008 World Champions, any girl that brings proof of registration for a near-by little league in the Chicago-land area will receive one (1) free 2009 Chicago Bandits season ticket.

The free seats will be located either in the outfield or along the first base sideline. To receive a free season ticket, the female little leaguer needs to bring a copy of their 2009 little league registration forms with them to the Heritage Ballroom when they come to meet the Bandits. Only one season ticket will be given out per registrant.
