Adirondack Frostbite News Release

Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack IceHawks of the United Hockey League today announced that forward Dominic Chiasson (CHAY-sahn) and goaltender Ryan Person (PEER-sehn) have been recalled to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL). The players will be available for Rochester's home game tonight against the Syracuse Crunch.

Chiasson is expected to return to the IceHawks in time for the club's game versus the New Haven Knights on Thursday evening. Person will replace a void on the Rochester roster created by the call up of netminder Mika Noronen to the Buffalo Sabres.

Chiasson leads Adirondack and ranks fourth in the UHL with 38 goals this season. The forward is also the team's second leading point producer with 71. The call up is Chiasson's first to the AHL. The forward played 12 games for the Quebec Rafales of the now defunct International Hockey League (IHL) in 1998.

Person has posted a record of 16-9-3 with a goals against average of 3.48 and .886 save percentage as rookie for Adirondack this season. The recall is the goaltender's third to Rochester this season.
