
Charley Pride to sing National Anthem at Cats' Opener May 14

Country music Hall of Famer and longtime baseball fan Charley Pride will sing The Star-Spangled Banner at the Fort Worth Cats' opener on Thursday, May 14 at historic LaGrave Field. Pride sang The Star-Spangled Banner at the Cats' 2007 home opener.
The Cats open the 2009 season against Grand Prairie on May 14 at 7:05 at LaGrave Field. The Cats will give away magnetic schedules to the first 2,500 fans through the turnstiles that night. A huge fireworks show is slated for after the game.
