Charleston Battery to Host Summer 3v3 & 6v6 Tournaments

Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery and Lowcountry Soccer have teamed up with the World Futbol Tour and will host a youth 3v3 and an adult 6v6 tournament at the Battery soccer complex June 23, 2012. The games will be played on the Battery practice fields and on the main stadium pitch. The tournament entry fees include tickets to that evenings Charleston Battery USL PRO match versus the Harrisburg City Islanders; gates 6:00 PM - kick off 7:30 PM.

Charleston Battery 3 v 3 Youth Summer Blast

The Battery 3v3 Summer Blast is open to teams aged U6 - High School and is a qualifier for the WFT World Cup III to be held on July 28-29, 2012 in Mooresville, NC. Teams playing in their first WFT event of the season will also become eligible to enter their State Champions Cup or the nearest one geographically. (Carolinas 3v3 Champions Cup on July 14 in Charlotte).

3v3 Youth Tournament Features:

$155 entry fee ($175 after June 11) includes (6) tickets to the Charleston Battery vs Harrisburg City Islanders match - kick off 7:30 PM.

All finals, awards presentations and photos at Blackbaud Stadium. At halftime of the Battery game the finalists and champions will be recognized at midfield .

Charleston Battery 6v6 Adult Summer Blast

The Battery 6v6 Summer Blast is open to teams aged 18+ and is the first season of the 6v6 Tour, giving avid amateur adults the same opportunities as our youth players in the 3v3 Tour. This 1-day 6v6 Tour event is a qualifier for the WFT 6v6 World Cup I to be held on July 29-30, 2012 in Mooresville, NC at the beautiful new Mazeppa Soccer Park. Teams will also become eligible to enter the Carolinas (SC/NC) 6v6 Cup on July 14 in Charlotte.

6v6 Adult Tournament Features:

$225 entry fee include (10) tickets to the Charleston Battery USL Pro match at 7:30pm

All finals, awards presentations and photos at Blackbaud Stadium.
