Charlotte Independence - 1
Nashville scored in the 56th and 60th minutes to turn a tied game at halftime into a comfortable three points for the visiting team. Nashville is now just a point behind the Rowdies, albeit having played one extra match.
Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC - 0
North Carolina FC - 5
Pittsburgh's winning streak came to a sudden stop with a beatdown in North Carolina. The score was 0-0 until Thomas Vancaeyezeele was shown a red card just before halftime. Fifteen minutes later, North Carolina led 4-0.
Saint Louis FC - 1
Indy Eleven - 2
Indy picked up another home win to keep pace with the leaders, beating a Saint Louis team that has fallen below the playoff line.
