June 22, 2010 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm (10-3) are back at the Storm Shelter this Saturday night at 7:05pm as they welcome the Sioux City Bandits (4-9). Waterbury/Coleman Heating & Cooling is the proud sponsor of this third and final meeting of these I-29 Rivals for the 2010 Season.
The Storm are coming off a tough 60-40 road loss against the Billings Outlaws, and are looking to gain momentum going into playoffs with a win over the Bandits. Sioux Falls will clinch the number two seed in the United Conference with a win against the Bandits. The Storm will host the Omaha Beef for the fourth time this season for the first round of playoffs for the United Conference on Saturday, June 26th.
The Sioux City Bandits (4-9) come to town with nothing to loose after a 67-17 road loss to the Wichita Wild. The Bandits only managed to come up with 7 first downs and 136 yards. Quarterbacks Scott Jensen and Donavan Corterie could not seem to connect with the Bandit receiving corpse, completing only 8 of 25 passes for the night.
2010 Playoff Packets purchased by Wednesday, June 16, will be available for pick up in the Sioux Falls Arena Lobby starting at 6pm at Saturday's game. Playoff packets purchased after June 16 will be available at the Arena Box Office Monday through Friday between the hours of 10am and 5pm.
2010 Playoff Packets are still available. Storm fans wishing to purchase playoff packets may contact Ashley at (605) 274-6686 ext. 102 at the Storm office or visit www.siouxfallsstorm.com.
