FRESNO, CA - Central Valley Fuego FC is thrilled to announce the signing of goalkeeper Carlos Avilez. Avilez joins Fuego FC from Chattanooga Red Wolves, bringing a wealth of experience and talent to the team.
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Avilez has deep roots in the soccer community. Born to Mexican parents, he holds dual citizenship and takes immense pride in his Mexican heritage. Throughout his youth career, Avilez showcased his skills on both the United States and Mexico National teams, representing each at various levels. His dedication and talent have earned him recognition, including a selection to the Mexican National Youth training camp squad.
He began his journey with the FC Dallas academy at the age of 12, laying the foundation for a successful career. In 2019, Avilez made his professional debut with North Texas SC, where he made 32 appearances and played a pivotal role in securing the USL League One title.
Following his impressive debut season, Avilez continued to excel, joining South Georgia Tormenta for the 2021 season before moving to Chattanooga Red Wolves. Now, he embarks on a new chapter with Central Valley Fuego FC, eager to contribute his skills and leadership to the team.
