During his time with Tormenta FC over the 2022 and 2023 seasons, Heckenberg appeared in 57 games, showcasing his durability and commitment on the field, playing a total of 3894 minutes. Additionally, Heckenberg played a pivotal role in Tormenta FC 2's 2021 season, contributing significantly to their third League Two playoff appearance.

Over four seasons, he served as the team captain for his final two years, demonstrating leadership both on and off the field. In his senior year, Heckenberg led the team to an impressive 11-4-3 winning record, culminating in a memorable collegiate career.

Throughout his time at California Baptist University, Heckenberg earned several accolades, including Most Valuable Player, All-WAC Honorable Mention, and All-Far West Region Second Team.
