
Celebrities to Help Kick off Blaze Home Opner

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze faithful won't be the only fans packing the seats at EnergySolutions Arena this Saturday. The team has announced that as part of its opening night festivities, local sports celebrities will be in attendance to show their support when the Blaze take on the San Jose SaberCats.
"Bringing some of the area's outstanding celebrities and athletes is just another way of giving the Blaze fans a one of a kind in-game experience," said President & Head Coach Ron James. "As we continue to chase excellence both on and off the field, we are honored to have these talented individuals help us kick off the 2012 season."

Luther Elliss Two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle with the Detroit Lions and All-American at the University of Utah
Mark Eaton Two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year as a center with the Utah Jazz
Shawn Bradley Standout center at BYU and second overall pick of the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1993 NBA Draft
Kevin Curtis Nine-year NFL veteran wide receiver and former All-American at Utah State
Jason Buck Super Bowl XXVI Champion as a defensive end for the Washington Redskins, Outland Trophy winner at BYU, and current Utah Blaze owner
Sione Pouha Starting defensive tackle for the New York Jets and former All-American at the University of Utah
