DAYTON, OH - Cedarville University and the Dayton Dragons have teamed up for a college baseball game at Fifth Third Field, when the Yellow Jackets battle the Earlham College Quakers on April 17th, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.

Admission to the game is free, but fans are encouraged to purchase a $5 food voucher with all proceeds going to the Dayton Food Bank. Fans donating a canned food item can get the voucher for just $4. The voucher can be redeemed at a concession stand for a hotdog, chips, and soda.

"Along with 24 high school games this season, we're thrilled that Fifth Third Field can also play host to Cedarville and Earlham for a collegiate baseball game," said Dragons President Robert Murphy. "Seeing these young players compete at Fifth Third Field is not only very exciting for the players, coaches, their families, but for us as well."

Cedarville University is an NAIA program with a new coach at the helm and a roster full of Ohio natives. Head Coach Mike Manes has taken over the Yellow Jackets baseball program and is looking for a successful season in his first year. Manes will turn to his seven seniors to lead the squad both on and off the field in 2008.

"It is an honor to play in such a professional atmosphere," said Manes. "Our players and parents circle this date on the calendar each year because it is such a special night. The staff of the Dayton Dragons has been great to work with in making this night possible."

Earlham is an NCAA Division III program in Richmond, Indiana, and their roster features two local athletes. Freshman catcher Kyle Stauffer is from Kettering Fairmont High School, while junior Randy Kerns attended National Trail High School.
