Cedar Rapids Roughriders Call Up Mark Evan

The Port Huron Fighting Falcons, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce that defenseman Mark Evan Auk will be moving on to the Cedar Rapids Roughriders of the USHL.

Auk, a Grosse Point Park MI, native is currently in his first year with the Fighting Falcons where he has scored 3 goals and added 9 assists in 27 games. Auk is also committed to Michigan Tech University (WCHA) for the 2014-2015 season.

Head Coach/GM Michael Gershon on Mark Evan's call up, "We couldn't be happier for Mark Evan on being called up to the USHL. He will be going to a great program in Cedar Rapids and I know he will continue to improve under Mark Carlson and the great staff that they have over there. We want to wish Mark Evan the best of luck and look forward to seeing how well he plays in the USHL."

Mark Evan Auk is the first ever Port Huron Fighting Falcon to be called up to play in the USHL during the season.

Port Huron is back home in this Friday, December 14th as they take on the Michigan Warriors; Santa Claus will be in attendance as well. Game time is 7 PM, with the doors opening at 6 PM.
