
'Cats strike first in three game series, winning 5-2 in Calgary

Edmonton, AB-The visiting Edmonton Cracker-Cats won the first of a three game series versus the Calgary Vipers tonight 5-2 .
Eric Van Slyke pitched a complete game for the âCats, giving up only 2 runs with seven strikeouts. Jose Morban had a big night offensively for the âCats, powering one over the wall in left center, giving Edmonton the 3-0 lead.
The two teams will meet again tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 and Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm.
