Cats sign RHP Beaver

Fort Worth Cats News Release
The Cats have signed right-handed pitcher Byrant Beaver to a contract for the 2007 season.
Beaver, 22, pitched for two seasons at Seminole (Okla.) State College. In 2004, he was 4-5 with a 5.14 ERA in 56 innings of work. He also hit .392 in 130 at bats as a third baseman for the Trojans.
He also pitched for Seminole in 2005 and resides in Anadarko, Okla.
