
Cats open Spring Training on Saturday with Moonlight Madness

The back-to-back-to-back champion Fort Worth Cats will open training camp on Saturday, April 26 with Moonlight Madness. The Cats will practice at 3:00 p.m. Practices throughout training camp are open to the public.
Saturday evening at LaGrave Field the Cats will host Moonlight Madness. The event begins with a charity softball game with the Fort Worth Police taking on the Fort Worth Fire Department. Following the game, Cats' players will take part in a special Home Run Derby. The evening concludes with a live concert by Loda Dimes.
The Cats are set to play three exhibition games during spring training beginning with a game on Thursday, May 1 at the Parks at Texas Star in Euless, Texas against.Grand Prairie at 7:05 p.m. The Cats take on Shreveport on May 4 at LaGrave Field beginning at 2:05 p.m. The final exhibition game is May 5 when the Cats host Grand Prairie at LaGrave Field at 7:05 p.m.
The regular season begins at home for the Cats on May 8 at 7:05 against the Sioux Falls Canaries.
Last September, the Cats became the first team in modern independent baseball to win three straight titles, winning the Central League in 2005 and the American Association in 2006 and 2007.
