Fans of the Wildcats showed their support for the Art on Ice program in a big way and we mean BIG. Created by the students in the five community elementary schools, the Art pieces brought in total of $2500.00. The concept developed by District 2 and supported by the Wildcats with support from Downtown Moncton Inc and displayed at several downtown locations as well as the Coliseum. The participating schools were Magnetic Hill, Beaverbrook, Forest Glen, Port Elgin Regional and Shediac Cape. The breakfast program at these schools along with their developing art programs will benefit from the funds raised.

Reader of Coffee Cup wins tickets: Congratulations to Gerry Melanson of Moncton, who won a pair of tickets for tonight's game by correctly answering the question in the Coffee Cup of last Thursday. The answer was 10 goals scored by the Wildcats against Halifax on December 27th. You can become a winner with the correct answer to today's question. Who won the Coach of the Year Award in the QMJHL last season? Send your answer to info@moncton-wildcats.com by midnight tonight. We'll have the winner's name in Thursday's Coffee Cup.
Cat of the Day:
A tip of our Wildcats cap to Terry LeBlanc of Advatek Systems Inc who kindly provided us with the scale to weigh the food donated by the fans for our Food Drive Challenge. We've had so many pounds donated that as of right now, we're still weighing.
Quote of the Day:
"There are no traffic jams along the extra mile."-Roger Staubach, Hall of Fame quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.
