North Adams SteepleCats News Release
In a matchup between the north division leading SteepleCats and the 2nd place south division Danbury Westerners offense was a constant. Danbury's park has very small dimensions and there were several balls that left the yard. Unfortunately for the Cats most of the balls that left the yard were off of Danbury bats. Kevin Brophy did leave the yard for the Cats with a 2-run shot in the 4th. The Cats tried to amount an unprecedented comeback as they scored 5 in the 9th inning, but they fell to the Westerners by a final score of 16-8. The Cats are back in action today as they travel to Upper Valley and take on the Nighthawks in a big divisional match-up. Tyler Hays will be taking the ball for the Cats and you can catch all the action on the NECBL Broadcast Network.
