(Saginaw, MI) The Saginaw Spirit host the Guelph Storm in the first game of their first round playoff match-up this Saturday, March 21 at 7:11 PM. The Spirit have lots of excitement planned for Saturday night in addition to the on-ice action.

The Spirit and WNEM TV5 have partnered with TheDow Event Center, managed by SMG, to extend the popular 5-for-5 concessions promotion for the game. Fans can visit WNEM.com and print out an exclusive coupon featuring a hot dog, Pepsi product, popcorn, candy bar and a Spirit merchandise item - all for only five dollars! Turn in the coupon and five dollars the night of the game at a special WNEM TV5 Redemption Table located in TheDow Event Center Atrium to participate in this exciting promotion.

The Saginaw High School Band will be playing pre-game and in the arena during the game, and 'Acoustic Blends' will be performing in the Bud Light Blue Line Club throughout the evening.

F.P. Horak is sponsoring a player poster giveaway for the first 2,500 fans. The playoff edition poster features the team's captains and goalie Edward Pasquale!

Spirit Playoffs - First Round

The Spirit host the Guelph Storm in the opening round of the 2009 post season, played in a best-of-seven series. The Spirit host Game One Saturday March 21 and Game Three on Tuesday March 24. If necessary, additional home games will be played on Saturday March 28 and Tuesday March 31. All Spirit home games are played at TheDow Event Center in Saginaw at 7:11 PM.
