Carranza and Gazdag Set MLS Record for Combined Goals; Union Remain Unbeaten on Road

CHESTER, Pa. - The Philadelphia Union faced New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium on Saturday night, winning 3-0. The Union opened the scoring in the 38th minute when forward Julian Carranza netted his sixth league goal of the season. With the goal, Carranza moved to third all-time in club history with 41 goals across all competitions. The Union extended the lead in the second half in the 47th minute when midfielder Dániel Gazdag scored his eighth goal of the MLS season. Gazdag netted his second goal of the match in the 80th minute, the eighth time Gazdag has scored multiple times across all competitions. Goalkeeper Oliver Semmle registered his first career MLS clean sheet to secure three points on the road for the Union.
The Union travel to Bank of America Stadium to face Charlotte FC on Saturday, May 25 (7:30 p.m. ET/ Apple TV).
