Carolina Thunder to hold tryouts in Atlanta

Charlotte, NC. James Bynum, Director of Player Personnel for the ABA Carolina Thunder professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in November today announced a tryout camp in Atlanta, GA on September 25th and 26th. According to Bynum, "There are a lot of professional players from overseas and players with brief stints in the NBA as well as great collegiate players who play here in the summer. We definitely want to see those players and hopefully can sign them. We also hope that a couple of other ABA coaches will be here too. Atlanta is becoming a mecca for basketball; there's too much talent to ignore."

The camp will be held at Our Lady of Mercy High School, 861 Highway 279, Fairburn, GA. The camp is located across the street from Evander Holyfield. Cost will be $100 before Sep 5th, $125 after.
