In 2002, it was Carolina who was victorious in all three meetings, ultimately winning Founders Cup II. Carolina holds a slight edge in scoring (10-9) in this series.
Jay Entlich on the CyberRays: "I watched San Jose defeat Atlanta last weekend in Atlanta. They possess a very strong team with great attacking flair and a stingy defense. They had several players step up and have big games for them last weekend like Barr, Cromwell and Chastain. They were well organized and kept the score sheet clean against one of the best offenses in the league on their home soil."
