
Carlese Franklin Placed on Physically Unable to Perform List

NEW ORLEANS (February 28, 2011) - The New Orleans VooDoo officially placed wide receiver Carlese Franklin on the physical unable to perform list following an injury sustained on Friday night in the scrimmage against Dallas.
Franklin injured his foot after catching a touchdown, landing awkwardly after the leaping grab. The Kentwood, La. native is entering his second AFL season after making his debut with the Tulsa Talons in 2010.
With the Talons, Franklin had 89 receptions for 1,141 yards and 23 touchdowns in his rookie campaign. The McNeese State standout also had 11 carries for 32 yards and two touchdowns.
