Palm Beach Cardinals News Release
The Palm Beach Cardinals fell behind early and could not recover against the Fort Myers Might Mussels on Tuesday night. The visitors jumped ahead with runs in the second and third innings on their way to a 10-1 win over the Beach Birds at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.
The Mussels would also plate a pair of runs in the fifth and sixth innings while tacking on another in the seventh. Palm Beach's only run of the night came on an RBI single from St. Louis' No. 6 overall prospect Joshua Baez. Baez, the Cardinals' 2nd Round draft choice in 2021, was making just his second start in Single-A and his first since suffering an injury on May 17.
