Rome Braves catcher Victor Caratini has been traded to the Chicago Cubs organization in exchange for reliever James Russell and INF/OF Emilio Bonifacio as part of a trade earlier today by the Atlanta Braves. Caratini, a South Atlantic League All-Star, is hitting .279/.352/.406 with five home runs. The roster is at 24 players .
