The Captains take on the Indians Double-A Akron RubberDucks in a special pre-season exhibition game presented by VisitPITTSBURGH on Tuesday, April 1 at Classic Park in Eastlake. The seven-inning contest starts at 5:00 PM.

The game marks the first time since 2007 that the organizations will meet in a pre-season affair and provides the opportunity for Captains fans to see several former Lake County players who have advanced through the Indians Farm System. In addition, fans have the chance to see former Captains manager David Wallace guide the RubberDucks while Jeff Harris is once again Wallace's pitching coach as he was in 2012 with the Captains.

Following the contest, players and coaches from both teams take part in an exclusive meet-the-teams party that to be held in the leftfield picnic area.

Admission to the game and the post-game private event, which features a buffet dinner, is complimentary to individuals who have purchased the following Captains ticket plans for the 2014 season:

Individuals or companies with these ticket packages receive game tickets and party passes to the meet-the-teams party. The post-game party features the opportunity to take pictures with, and get autographs from all of the players and coaches from both teams.

Exhibition game tickets are $6 for the general public and are available for purchase in-person at the Classic Park Box Office, via phone at 440.954.WINS or on-line at CaptainsBaseball.com.

Opening Night at Classic Park is Friday, April 4 at 6:30 PM as the Captains welcome the Lansing Lugnuts. The 2014 campaign begins with a Captains Scarf giveaway for the first 1,500 fans presented by Lake Health. All fans in attendance receive a Captains 2014 Magnet Schedule presented by Wickliffe Country Place. The game also features a special half-price beer, pre-game Happy Hour. Gates open at 5:00 PM.
