
Captains to Raffle Three Championship Rings

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the 2010 Midwest League Champions and Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, have announced that it will host a special raffle giving three lucky individuals the opportunity to win an authentic customized 2010 Midwest League Championship Ring. 100% of the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Captains Charities, the 501(c) 3 non-profit arm of the Captains organization
Raffle tickets are on sale now and sales will run through June 5. Tickets will be available for purchase for $5 each, or five for $20, at every Captains home game as well as at the Captains offices located at Classic Park. Captains non-game day business hours are Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM and on game days, the office is open from 10 AM through the end of the game. Ticket will also be on available on line at captainsbaseball.com.
The three winning raffle tickets will be drawn on June 15 prior to the Captains game that evening. The three winners will have the option to have the custom-made rings personalized with their own last name or have the rings produced with the name of their favorite Captains player who played on the 2010 team. The winners will receive their championship rings during a special pre-game ceremony that will take place at a Captains game in August.
"The Captains first ever championship is reason to celebrate and we have enjoyed sharing this special experience with the community we call home", explained Captains Vice President & General Manager Brad Seymour. "We are excited to present this opportunity for three lucky fans to win an authentic championship ring while also raising money for Captains Charities, which benefits many local endeavors."
As an added bonus, each raffle ticket sold will also be eligible to be exchanged for a complimentary game ticket to any of the Captains home games scheduled for June 14, 15 & 16. All raffle tickets may be brought to the Classic Park Box Office and exchanged for a game ticket on any of the three days listed in June, based upon availability.
Single game tickets are on sale now for the Captains 2011 season at the Classic Park box office, online at captainsbaseball.com and by phone at 440-954-WINS (9467). Full season tickets plans, 7-, 12-, 20-, and 35-game mini ticket plans for the 2011 season are on sale now at great prices complete with several exclusive benefits.
