Captains Tickets On Sale February 29th

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains will put Individual tickets for all 70 home games on sale next Friday, February 29th, at 9:00 a.m. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Captains Ticket Office, over the telephone at 440-954-WINS (9467), or over the Internet at http://www.captainsbaseball.com. The Captains ticket office will be also be open on Saturday, March 1st from 9:00 a.m. until noon with the same activities and festivities.

"This is always an enjoyable day for our fans, and it serves as a reminder to all of us that we are just that much closer to Spring and Opening Day. Captains General Manager Kevin Brodzinski said. "We hope fans will come out to join to enjoy themselves as we mark the beginning of another season of minor league baseball at Classic Park."

The day's festivities will include:

- Free News-Herald yearly calendars to the first 150 fans purchasing tickets

- Free raffle to win a night in a Luxury Suite at Classic Park

- Complimentary refreshments, including hot coffee and donuts

- Free tours of Classic Park

- 30% off marked items in the Cargo Hold

The Captains begin their 6th season at Classic Park on Tuesday, April 8th at 7:05 p.m. Fans will be treated to the "Best Fireworks Show in Northeast Ohio!" following the game.

The Captains have many exciting events planned again this season. The theme nights this year include the return of "Buck Night" on Mondays where fans can purchase hot dogs, beers, and sodas for a dollar. Tuesday will mark the debut of the high school home run derby. Wednesday will be senior day / night. Thirsty Thursday makes it's debut this season where all fountain sodas and draft beers are 50% off. All Friday and Saturday night games will be followed by a Fireworks Show and Sunday marks the return of Family Fun Days.

Premium giveaways this year will include a Fish Race bobblehead series, a Fausto Carmona bobblehead and plenty of kid's giveaways. A more detailed promotional schedule will be released at a later date.
