
Caps Compete in Home-And-Home with Green Bay

Ahead of the Madison Capitols this weekend is a home-and-home series with the Green Bay Gamblers. The Caps are set to to host the opening game of the series tomorrow night at Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena on Hat Trick or Treat night.
Madison enters tomorrow night's contest on a 7-game winning streak. They have pieced together some impressive statistical nuggets to start the 2021-22 campaign.
The Capitols lead all USHL teams in goals for with 45 and goals per game (5) over their first nine games of the season.
On the opposite side of the puck, the Capitols 23 goals allowed (GA) is tied for first in the Eastern Conference with the Dubuque Fighting Saints and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.
The Caps look to remain perfect at Capitol Ice (5-0) tomorrow night. When on their home sheet, the Capitols are averaging 5.4 GPG.
Madison and Green Bay are slated to drop the puck at 7:05 p.m. Friday night and 3:05 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
