
Capitols Announce Trade of Forward Nathan Lewis to Youngstown

Madison Capitols News Release
The Capitols today announced a trade with the Youngstown Phantoms. The Capitols have traded forward Nathan Lewis for multiple picks in upcoming USHL Phase I and Phase II Drafts. The draft capital coming back for Madison includes a 2024 Phase I 3rd Round Pick, a 2024 Phase II 2nd Round Pick, and a 2025 Phase II 3rd Round Pick. Along with Lewis, the Capitols have attached a Phase I 7th Round Pick in 2024.
Capitols' Head Coach and General Manager, Andy Brandt, spoke highly of Lewis, stating, "We would like to thank Nathan for his contributions to the team. He has been a valuable asset on and off the ice, and we wish him all the best with Youngstown."
In return the Capitols receive a valuable package of draft picks that will enhance their ability to acquire top talent in the upcoming seasons. The 2024 Phase I 3rd Round pick, 2024 Phase II 2nd Round pick, and 2025 Phase II 3rd Round pick provide the team with additional opportunities to strengthen the roster and add depth to the organization.
