Capital City Splits Series on Long Island

The Capital City Go-Go (7-5) leave Nassau Coliseum in New York with a 1-1 series split against the Long Island Nets (7-6).

In Tuesday's game, two-way forward Keon Johnson's 26 points propelled the Nets to a 108-104 comeback victory. Center Noah Clowney also scored 20 points to go along with 11 rebounds to notch his fourth double-double of the season.

Capital City Forwards Hamidou Diallo and Jules Bernard led the team with 24 and 20 points, respectively. Davion Mintz continued his shooting streak from beyond the arc, tacking four more 3's onto his season total. Guard Devon Dotson orchestrated the offense for the Go-Go, with seven assists on the evening.

The Go-Go avenged their loss in Wednesday's game, with a 110-106 victory. The two teams went into the 4th quarter tied at 83 a piece, but Capital City was able to pull away for its 7th victory of the season. Jules Bernard, Hamidou Diallo, and Devon Dotson all recorded 20+ point performances on the night, combining for 66 on the evening. Davion Mintz also scored 18 points in 31 minutes off the bench, leading the team's second unit.

Capital City now returns home to D.C. for a two-game series against the Westchester Knicks (9-3). The two teams will play at 7 PM on Friday, December 15 and 5 PM on Sunday, December 17. Purchase tickets here.
