Canucks Select Kudryavtsev in 7th Round Saturday ()

With a 7th Round Selection (208th overall), Greyhounds' defenceman KIRILL KUDRYAVTSEV was selected in today's 2022 NHL Draft by the Vancouver Canucks.

The Hounds 1st Round Selection of the 2021 CHL Import Draft, Kudryavtsev appeared in all 68 games for the club this past season recording 5 goals and 34 assists, good for 39 points.

He had 4 assists in 10 playoff contests.

A 5.11, 200-lb rearguard from Yaroskalv Russia, Kirill was ranked 108th in the NHL Central Scouting's Final Rankings.

He becomes the 3rd Import Selection of the Hounds in the last five years to be selected to the NHL following Jaromir Pytlik (4th Round, 2020 New Jersey) and Rasmus Sandin (1st Round, 2018 Toronto).
