BMB, Bryce McConnell-Barker Picked to the 'Big Apple'

In the 3rd Round of the 2022 NHL Draft (97th overall), the New York Rangers called the name of Program member BRYCE MCCONNELL-BARKER at the Bell Centre in Montreal, QUE.

McConnell-Barker led all Hounds rookies during the 2021-22 season with 23 goals, 26 assists, good for 49 points in 68 games played.

The 6.01, 188-lb forward added 5 points (1G, 4A) in 10 post-season contests.

He finished the season as a two-time winner at the club's awards banquet being named their 'Rookie of the Year' and 'Scholastic Player of the Year' recipient.

Leading into today's NHL Draft, McConnell-Barker was ranked 34th for North American Skaters in the NHL Central Scouting Final rankings.

The London, ON product was one of 23 OHLers invited to the 2022 NHL Scouting Combine and previously competed at the 2022 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.

McConnell-Barker was originally selected by the Hounds in the 1st Round of the 2020 OHL Priority Selection, presented by Real Canadian Superstore,
