Canucks Recall Center Jayson Megna from the Comets

Utica, NY - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has recalled center Jayson Megna from the Utica Comets.

Megna, 27, has collected one assist and four penalty minutes in four games with the Comets in 2017- 18. He spent last season split between Vancouver and Utica, where he recorded eight points (4-4-8) in 58 games with Vancouver and three points (1-2-3) in four games with the Comets.

Megna has appeared in 112 career NHL games with Pittsburgh, the New York Rangers and Vancouver.

He has collected 20 points (10-10-20) and 28 penalty minutes over that span. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native originally signed with Vancouver as a free agent on July 1, 2016.
