Canucks Recall Brisebois; Comets Release Cliff Watson from PTO

UTICA, N.Y. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Guillaume Brisebois from the Utica.

Brisebois, 21, currently ranks second among Comets defencemen in games played this season (45), registering nine points (2-7-9) and 20 penalty minutes. The Longueuil, Quebec, native has posted 27 points (5-22-27) in 113 career AHL games with the Comets. Brisebois was originally selected by Vancouver 66th overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Utica Comets General Manager Ryan Johnson announced today that the club has released defenseman Cliff Watson from his PTO.

Watson suited up in five games for the Comets, but did not record a point. The defenseman will return to the Kansas City Mavericks, where he has 10 points in 19 games.
