Canucks Re-Assign Auld to Moose; Moose Re-Assign McVicar to Inferno

Today, the Vancouver Canucks announced they re-assigned goaltender Alex Auld to the Manitoba Moose. As a result, the Moose have re-assigned goaltender Rob McVicar to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.

So far in 2003-04, Auld, 22, has appeared in 15 games for the Moose with six wins and eight losses to go along with a tie. He has a goals against average thus far of 2.59 and a save percentage of .911. He appeared in seven games during his recall to the Canucks and recorded three wins and three losses. He posted a 1.57 GAA and a .939 save percentage.

Robert McVicar appeared in four games during his second recall to the Manitoba Moose this season. He collected his first career AHL victory (01/09/04 3-2 at ROC), as well as his first AHL loss (01/11/04 1-2 at ROC) and his first AHL tie (01/07/04 3-3 at STJ's). He posted with a 2.33 GAA and a .926 save percentage.
