Utica Comets News Release
Vancouver Canucks General Manager, Jim Benning announced today that the club has signed goaltender Joe Cannata.
Cannata, 24, spent the 2013.14 season with the Utica Comets, posting a record of 11-12-1, goals against average of 2.83, and a save percentage of .907 through 28 games. It marked his third season in the AHL.
The Wakefield, MA native was originally selected by Vancouver in the sixth round, 173rd overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
