
Canadian Forces to deliver Memorial Cup by sea, air and land

Vancouver, BC, April 25, 2007: On Thursday, May 17, Canadian Forces units will deliver the Memorial Cup to Vancouver by sea, air and land for the start of the 2007 MasterCard Memorial Cup championship.
- HMCS Vancouver will arrive in Vancouver Harbour with the Memorial Cup on board
- A CH149 Cormorant helicopter will meet with HMCS Vancouver and hoist the Memorial Cup from the ship
- The CH149 Cormorant will fly to the Vancouver Harbour heliport and transfer the Memorial Cup to the 39th Canadian Brigade Group Convoy
- The convoy will proceed to the Cannery Seafood House on Commissioner Street for the Memorial Cup Opening Celebration, presented by Kal Tire
The 2007 MasterCard Memorial Cup will be played from May 18 - 27 at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster charge by phone at 604-280-4400 and online at www.ticketmaster.ca
