The game between Sussex and Ottawa has been postponed due to rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, June 24 beginning at 6:05 PM. Both games will be seven innings.

W: JC Huguet (4-0) L: German Melendez (1-2) S: None HR: None

The Atlantic City Surf got a great outing from starting pitcher JC Huguet, who walked just one and struck out five in a two-hit shutout, keeping him a perfect 4-0 on the year. The Surf had a solid game at the plate, collecting 11 hits behind Huguet. DH Clyde Williams led the way, going 3-for-3 with a double, a run scored and two RBI. The win for Atlantic City evens its record to 15-15, pulling them to within five games of first place in the Can-Am League.

Brockton LF Jud Thigpen was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI and PH Tony Gonzalez added a solo home run to lead the Rox to victory at home against Quebec. Rox starting pitcher Chris McDonough allowed two runs in the top of the first inning, but then settled in to shut down Quebec through the seventh. He allowed just six hits and struck out three in the game to improve to 4-1 on the year. Brockton closer Jerry Dunn tossed a perfect ninth to record his seventh save. Capitales 1B Eddie Lantigua and DH Pat Scalabrini each were 2-for-4 with a home run in the losing effort.
