RF Alex Nunez's fielder's choice in the top of the ninth inning plated 3B Pat Deschenes from third base to break a 1-1 tie and give the Quebec Capitales a 2-1 win over the Sussex Skyhawks. Quebec LF Tony Lewis was 3-for-4 with a RBI and 1B Pierre-Luc LaForest had two hits in four at-bats for the Capitales. Quebec reliever Cody Castle pitched two scoreless innings to notch his first win of the season. Skyhawks 3B Jeremy Hunt was 1-for-4 with a solo home run in defeat.

SS Garrett Olson and RF Carlos Sosa have solid games at the plate in leading the Worcester Tornadoes past the New Jersey Jackals. Olson and Sosa combined to go 4-for-8 at the plate with four runs scored and three RBI. Sosa added his second home run of the season, a three-run shot in the first inning. Worcester starter Ryan Lobban picked up his fourth win of the year allowing one earned run on nine hits with five strikeouts in seven innings of work. LF Ryan Rogowski, SS Mike DeJesus and 3B Mike Scanzano each had two hits for New Jersey.

The American Defenders of New Hampshire scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to rally from a 4-2 deficit and defeat the Brockton Rox. The win by the American Defenders is their fifth in a row. New Hampshire CF Edward Ovalle was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI while DH Chris Kelly was 2-for-4 with a run scored. New Hampshire pitcher Lucas Ledbetter pitched two innings of scoreless relief to collect his first win of the season. Brockton DH Palmer Karr was 1-for-3 and homered for the fifth consecutive game.
