Four Quebec pitchers combined to allow just three hits in a 4-1 victory over Sussex. Karl Gelinas worked the first five innings before giving way to Rhett Barber, Derek McDaid, and Jason Schutt who earned his eighth save of the season. Gelinas improved to 3-2 with the win. CF Goef Tomlinson, 1B Eddie Lantigua, and DH Doug Toro each had two hits for the Capitales. Skyhawks starter Roger Lincoln went seven innings, allowing nine hits and striking out two. He dropped to 4-4 with the loss. C Ray Serrano's solo homer accounted for the lone Sussex run.

New Jersey 4, Brockton 1

HR: NJ- Mike DeJesus (3), Ryan Rogowski (4)

New Jersey broke out the heavy lumber and scored three times in the bottom of the eighth inning to claim a 4-1 victory over Brockton. Tied 1-1, 2B Marcus Sanders tripled to center to open the inning before LF Ryan Rogowski homered to right field for a 3-1 lead. With two out, Mike DeJesus homered to add an insurance run. That was plenty of cushion for Rusty Tucker who came on to work a 1-2-3 ninth inning and collect his 15th save. Rox 2B Melvin Falu turned in a solid performance going 2-for-4 at the plate with a run scored and a stolen base. Brockton left nine men on base in the contest.

Worcester 9, New Hampshire 7

Worcester used balanced offensive production and a big strikeout total from their starting pitcher to outlast the American Defenders of New Hampshire by a 9-7 final. Four Tornadoes hitters had multi-hit games, including DH Nick Salotti who finished 3-for-4 with a RBI, and three Worcester hitters drove in two runs apiece. Tornadoes starter Zach Zuercher evened his record at 4-4 by working seven innings and striking out nine to get the win. 1B Jerod Edmondson homered and drove in two for New Hampshire.
