New Hampshire C Zane Chavez was 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI to lead the American Defenders to a 7-5 win against Worcester. New Hampshire scored in the second inning to take a 1-0 lead and would never trail in the game. American Defenders starting pitcher Miguel Flores allowed two runs on four hits while striking out six in five innings of work to earn the win and run his record to 5-1. New Hampshire closer Juan Padilla came on with one out in the ninth to shut the door on the Tornadoes and earn his 17th save.

Brockton starting pitcher Craig Anderson scattered seven hits and struck out seven in a complete game shutout as the Rox rolled, 8-0. Anderson got more than enough support from the offense, which tallied 15 hits in the contest. 3B Phillip Cuadrado led the way, going 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI. Brockton CF Christopher Valencia and 1B Clyde Williams each were 3-for-5 while LF Palmer Karr was 2-for-5 with a home run, his 16th of the season.

Quebec 8, Sussex 2

Quebec got another great outing from starting pitcher Eric Gagne in a big win over the Sussex Skyhawks. Gagne allowed one run on five hits while striking out seven in seven innings of work to earn the win and improve to 5-2. Quebec RF Sebastien Boucher led the way at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI. CF Goefrey Tomlinson also had a nice game. He was 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles and two RBI. With the victory and the Worcester loss, the Capitales took sole possession of first place.
