Quebec starting pitcher Gabe Ribas allowed two runs, both earned, on seven hits and struck out three through eight innings to record his third win of the season. Coming into the game, Ribas was fourth in Can-Am League in pitching with a 1.90 earned run average. Through 32 innings so far this season, he has allowed just 22 hits and four walks, while striking out 24. Capitales closer Christian Mendoza came on to pitch a perfect ninth in relief, getting a strikeout and two ground ball outs to finish off the Skyhawks and pick up his fifth save. Quebec DH Francisco Lebron was 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs to lead the offense in the win.

Nashua 6, New Jersey 2

Nashua was the benefactor of nine hits and five New Jersey errors as they went on to win by four. Pride starting pitcher Mark Hamilton allowed two runs, both earned, on seven hits through 7.1 innings of work and struck out four to pick up the win - his second. Jackals' starter Isaac Pavlik allowed six runs, only one earned, on nine hits through eight innings and struck out seven. Nashua 1B Billy Becher was 3-for-4 on the night with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI to lead the offense. New Jersey LF Jason Tuttle and RF Joe Mihalics each had two hits to lead the Jackals' offense in the losing effort.

New Haven 1, Brockton 0

Hits were certainly hard to come by as both pitching staffs combined to allow just seven hits in the game. New Haven starter Rolando Valles was one out from a four-hit shutout, but was pulled after allowing the tying run to reach first with two outs in the ninth. Closer Andy Weimer came on in relief and struck out the final batter to seal the win and pick up his fourth save of the season in the process. Brockton starter Rolando Viera also pitched well, allowing the games lone run, an earned run, on just three hits and struck out 10 through seven innings. Cutters' RF Horace Lawrence was 1-for-2 on the night to lead the offense and scored the game's only run.

Worcester starting pitcher Matt Weagle only went three innings after making a relief appearance a couple nights prior to the team's game against North Short and Elvis Jimenez was solid through five innings of relief to pick up his third win of the season. Jimenez allowed two runs, both earned, on four hits and struck out five through five innings and in the meantime the Tornadoes rallied from a 4-1 deficit to take a 5-4 lead to ensure Jimenez a victory. Closer David Byard came on for the ninth and got a one-out double play behind him to record the last two outs in the ninth, giving him his fourth save of the year and Worcester their 12th win, good for second most in the league.
