1B Thomari Story-Harden's RBI single in the ninth inning helps the Cutters get past the Rox and take two of three in the series. 2B Jose Delgado led the Cutters at the plate this afternoon going 3-for-4 with two runs scored, including the game winning run. Story-Harden and SS Chas Terni each had two hit outings to aid New Haven, who are now at .500 for the season. Justin Knoff got the victory, his third, in relief for New Haven pitching two scoreless innings and recording one strikeout. Brockton was led today by 2B Mike Scanzano who was 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Sussex 4, Quebec 2

SS Robert LeNoir and 3B Elvis Corporan each had two hit games with LeNoir driving in two runs to lead the Skyhawks past the Capitales and maintain first place in the league. Sussex would score one run in the fifth, three runs in the sixth to go out to a 4-0 lead and that would hold up thanks to another outstanding pitching performance by Skyhawks' starter Chris Zallie. Zallie picked up his third victory of the season going seven innings allowing only three hits and striking out five Capitales' batters. 3B Eddie Lantigua and RF Benoit Emond each had two hits and drove in both runs to lead Quebec in the losing effort.

North Shore 7, Worcester 5

LF Garrett Weir and C Alex Trezza each had tremendous afternoons at the plate to help the Spirit to a come-from-behind victory over the Tornadoes. Weir went 4-for-5 with two runs scored while C Alex Trezza had a 3-for-4 outing with two runs scored and one RBI, including hitting his fourth home run of the season. Erik Drown picked up his second win of the year in relief for North Shore going one inning giving up one run on a hit. 3B Jeff Lahair and 2B Tucker Frawley each two hit performances for the Tornadoes, who now drop to 12-11 on the season.

New Jersey 8, Nashua 7 (13 Innings)

@Little Falls, NJ. Time: 3:55 Attendance: 2,430

HR: NJ-Ricardo Cordova (1)

New Jersey pushes across the game winning run in the 13th Inning to get an 8-7 victory over Nashua. New Jersey took an 7-4 lead into the ninth inning but could not hold it as Jackals reliever Willy Espinal came in and gave up three runs to tie at 7-7 and send it to extra innings. However, the Jackals would prevail as they won it in the 13th. 2B Ricardo Cordova was the man at the plate for New Jersey as he went 3-for-6 with a run scored, three RBI and hitting his first home run of the season. Jackals' relief pitcher Adam Nikolic got his first win of the season going two innings allowing only one hit and one walk.
