Brockton got six strong innings from starting pitcher John Boker, who allowed just two runs over six innings, and three scoreless innings of work from the bullpen to knock off New Haven 3-2. The win gave Boker his 3rd on the year and relief pitcher Jon Koch picked up his 3rd save of the season. Rox 1B Jake Daubert led the team at the plate with two hits and two RBI. Despite taking the loss, New Haven starting pitcher Jarrett Stawarz pitched five strong innings and allowed just three runs. 3B Chas Terni went 1-for-3 with a double to lead the Cutters offensively.

New Jersey 17, Nashua 6

New Jersey pounded out 19 hits en route to the blowout victory, 17-6, over Nashua. Seven different Jackals hitters had two or more hits in the game. DH John Lindsey led the way for New Jersey, going 4-for-5 with three doubles and three RBI. 2B/RF Joe Mihalics also had a huge night at the plate for the Jackals, adding two hits and six RBI of his own. Starting pitcher Joe Orloski picked up the win and improved to 2-2 after allowing just three earned runs over six innings of work. Nashua 1B Billy Becher hit the only homerun of the game and drove in two runs in the losing effort.

Sussex 5, Quebec 3

Sussex relief pitcher Jose Correa allowed only one hit over five scoreless innings of work to pick up the win and help lead the Skyhawks past Quebec 5-3. With the win Correa improved to 4-0 on the season. 1B Ryan Lehr led the Skyhawks at the plate with two hits and two RBI. Despite picking up the loss, Quebec starting pitcher Brad Purcell was effective, allowing only three earned runs over seven innings. Offensively, the Capitales got two hits and an RBI from C Olivier Lepine in the losing cause.

Worcester starting pitcher Junior Guerrero pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and striking out four to help the Tornadoes past North Shore. Relief pitcher Jamie Merchant pitched 1 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball to notch his first save of the season. Worcester 1B Chris Colabello went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a homerun to lead the team at the plate. For North Shore, starting pitcher Joey Siak allowed only three runs over seven innings, but still was saddled with the loss. Four different Spirit batters had a hit to account for the North Shore offense.
